Vision- perfectly clear I just wish I could see the right wing
originality- come on who are we kidding
technique- I love the crisp sharp clarity & the citrusy colors plus it's well centered
impact- it drew me RIGHT in

I've photographed butterflies for several years & I know how hard a shot like this can be to get cause sometimes on the macro setting it can randomly focas on something else & blur what you are shooting plus they can spook or shut their wings while you hit the button so believe me I can appreshiate the difficulty is scoring a shot like this

Easiest way to tell a viceroy from a monarch is that on the back wings viceroys have 2 full rows of orange bars but the monarch has a more abstract patern.

how big is it viceroys are alot smaller then monarchs

Really not sure.. it couldn't get too close to it, it was on a bank that was a steep drop into water XD
